Hannelore was born in Nuremburg, Germany in 1936. She lived there during WWII and immigrated to the United States in 1960. She was employed by a Fortune 100 company as Sales Manager for over 20 years.
Eventually she moved to Atlanta, Ga, where she met and married Jim Thompson and became beloved "Hanu" to Dan (Vicki), Mike (Amy), Laurie (Brooks), as well as six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Her great love for family was always first in her heart, even though her interests were many - golden retrievers, books, gardening, cooking, and not least of all her beloved computer which helped satisfy her unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
