Horacio Cáceres, aged 90, was born on May 24, 1926 and passed away in Sandy Springs on December 12, 2016. He started his career as an Industrial Engineer for Coca Cola in 1950 in Buenos Aires, Argentina and eventually relocated to Miami in 1971 where he was Vice President for Latin America and later moved to Coca Cola headquarters in Atlanta in 1977, where he was Manager for Production Services Worldwide. He had a distinguished career with the company and was responsible for establishing the first Coca Cola bottling plants in Moscow and Beijing. Mr. Cáceres is survived by his loving wife, Gisela, and her supportive sons Carlos and Marcos who stood by his side as he quietly succumbed to complications from congestive heart failure. He leaves behind his family and many close friends. In addition to his wife Gisela and sons Carlos and Marcos, he is also survived by his sister Beatriz, granddaughters: Alejandra and Sophia, nephews: Juan Carlos, Jorge Horacio, José Luís, and niece Beatriz. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday December 15 at Sandy Springs Chapel from 4:00-6:00pm followed by a Mass at 10:30 AM on December 16th at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, GA. Family and friends welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
