Jack O. May, 89, of Sandy Springs, GA died Friday, October 1, 2010. Mr. May worked over 35 years for the Merck Corporation. He retired in 1989 as District Manager. Throughout his career and during retirement, he and his wife travelled extensively. He was passionate about gardening and carefully tended his vegetables and roses. Mr. May is survived by his wife, Phyllis May; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Steven Rogers May. A visitation will be held Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 4, 2010 at Dunwoody Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Dr. Mack Hannah will officiate. Donations may be made to the Dunwoody Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
