Lacey Grose

Lacey Paul Grose, age 74, died on a December 31, 2015, in Atlanta, Georgia. Lacey is survived by his wife, Edith Grose, of 52 years. He is also survived by four children, Daughter and Son-In-Law, LaSandra and Bill Roberts, Son, Lacey Paul Grose Jr, Son and Daughter- In –Law James Urias and Kim Grose, Son and Daughter-In-Law, Edward Allen and Amy Denise Grose. Sisters, Eddie Gypsy Bodenheimer, Mary Louise Sizemore, and Betty Ramsey and Brother, Billy Joe Grose. Also, Grandchildren, Emily Michelle Grose, Heather Elston, Wesley Warrington, Travis Elston, Austin Grose, Elizabeth Grose, Joshua Grose, David Gordon Grose, and Ashton Daye Grose. Great Grand Children, Liam Jaxon, Mila Adalynn, Joey Warrington, and Emma Warrington. Lacey was born on August 16, 1941 in Delorem, also known as Edgarton, an unincorporated community in Mingo County, West Virginia. Delorem is located along the Tug River across from the state of Kentucky. He graduated from Paintsville high school in Paintsville Kentucky and entered into the Marines in 1959. Mr. Grose married Edith in 1963 in Atlanta and started Style Taxi Service in 1978, where they continue to provide taxi services in Metro Atlanta for over 35 years. He enjoyed golfing. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving and caring person. A funeral is scheduled for Wednesday at 1pm, January 6, 2016 at Chattahoochee Baptist Church, 375 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta, Ga 30068. Visitation will be at Sandy Springs Chapel on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, from 5pm-8pm. Burial will be at the Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery.
