Michael Leonard DiTano, loving father, husband, and son, passed away unexpectedly on October 2nd at age 54. He leaves behind a loving wife, Kimmery DiTano of 29 years, three beautiful, caring daughters, Arielle, Alexandra, and Nicolette, as well as a mother and father, Rita Scavo and Leonard DiTano. He had an extremely close bond with his wife, children, and parents who have molded him into the beautiful person he lived to be. Michael was born in New Hartford, NY. He graduated from Thomas R. Proctor high-school, earned a Bachelor of Science and a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University, and obtained his Master of Law from Emory University School of Law. As an extremely accomplished professional, he was recognized for his work domestically and internationally. Michael was a sun worshiper, lover of the west coast, and most important to him was family. A true family man, he dedicated his entire life to his wife and three kids and created a truly irreplaceable bond. He lived life to the fullest and he touched everyone with his contagious smile and positive attitude. He made friends everywhere he went and truly lit up a room. He fully embraced his Italian heritage, you could always find Michael at the stove on Sunday cooking a Sunday dinner for twenty people, but only needing to feed five. As an avid philanthropist, he continually gave to others in need in a truly selfless manner. He will be deeply missed by all he touched. There will be a viewing at Sandy Springs Chapel on Thursday October 5th 2017 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. On Friday, October 6th 2017 the service will be held at Christ The King at 10:00AM.
