Richard Alan Segall

Richard Alan Segall, 65, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Friday March 7th, 2014 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia from complications of a brain aneurysm. Richard was born February 14, 1949 in Savannah Georgia. His parents were the late D. David Segall and Clara T. Segall of Savannah. Richard graduated from Savannah High School in 1967 and attended the University of Georgia. He was Vice President of Segall & Sons, Inc. from 1972-1987 and then managing partner of Segall Associates, a Georgia real estate development company, from 1987- present. Richard is survived by his wife of 37 years Jane Hardy Segall. He has two children Max Abraham and his wife Ashley and their children Ava and Julian of Cartersville, Georgia and a daughter Charlotte Grace of New York, New York. He is also survived by two brothers, Terry and his wife Brenda Segall of Gainesville, Georgia and Robert and his wife Mona Segall of Savannah, Georgia, and his brother in law A.C. Hardy of McDonough, Georgia. Richard is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 9, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel. Phillip Bray will officiate. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park immediately following the service. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service on Sunday at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy.NE Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328.
