

PEET, Sallyann Bien 1927- 2018 Sallyann Bien Peet, aka Aunt Sal; 90 (one day shy of her 91st birthday) died peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 24th, 2018. Sallyann was born January 25th,1927 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of J. Stanley Bien and Ruth Rebecca Mumby. Sallyann graduated from Lansing Eastern High School (1944) before attending Toledo School of Nursing, graduating with her Registered Nursing Degree in 1947. She received her B.S. Degree from the College of St. Francis in 1988. She was an amazing caregiver and took great pride in being a nurse. Sallyann had a passion for life and was known for her vibrant smile and contagious laugh. She loved being with family and friends, was quite the card player, loved the beach; loved to dance and always enjoyed cooking and a good party. Sallyann was a devoted and proud mother of four children. She was predeceased by her oldest daughter, Penny Ann Peet, and her sister Ruthjane Block; survived by daughters Pamela (Bruce Kerr); Amanda Wagner (Paul Wagner), son Emerson William Peet, III; grandson, Will Wagner, nephew Jeff Block (Barbara Block) and children; nephew Randy Block (Cindy). Sallyann was a member of Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Sallyann was very loved and will be missed. 1-2-3 ! Funeral Services for Sallyann will be held on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 at Saint Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 7171 Glenridge Drive NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 at 1:00pm. Reception to follow. Donations may be made to the Humane Society or the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Sallyann Bien Peet.
