I met Steve when he came to work for me at CTS. I enjoyed working with him and having him as a friend. I am very sadden by the news of his passing. He was a very nice person and always happy. He enjoyed working in the transportation industry.  He loved his family. He was always telling me about them. Steve you will be missed.

I knew Steve from high school, mainly from going to football games together and just hanging out in the process.  I got to know him better at UT when I roomed across the hall from him at Moore-Hill, and Steve was rooming with another close friend  of mine.  Steve was a really  good guy--always smiling and joking, and seemingly always in a good mood.  I regret we fell out of touch over the years.  My deepest condolences to Denis and the family.

My memories of Steve go way, way back, from high school at Robert E Lee in San Antonio in the early 70s through college together UT Austin through the mid-70s.  We were close as neighbors for years both in a dormitory hall and later, in the same apartment complex.  We stayed up late many nights in the dorm listening to music and laughing.  We spent a lot of time together after we both moved back to San Antonio following college.  We took trips to the coast, Port Aransas, sometimes staying in my dad’s overhead camper.  There were a couple of memorable Halloween costume parties where we dressed outrageously.  Steve was always upbeat and easy-going, a friend through good times and bad.  He could always put a smile on my face.  He never took anything too seriously.  He will be sorely missed.  I regret, as most often happens, that we lost touch over the years.  It makes me recognize the value of old friendships.  I was shocked and saddened when Denis let me know about his passing.  My deepest sorrow and condolences go out to Denis and the family.

I'm so saddened that we have  lost you although I know it's only temporary.  Steve,  you were a good friend and colleague. I met you when I was Huber and it was always such a pleasure to see you during that time. It was  to my delight to connect with you again as a co-worker at USA Cargo, .that was so incredible.  I so enjoyed the time we shared together as colleagues and co-workers.   I loved our lunches together and our talks during the day. I was so shocked to hear the sad news that you had passed. You were a such a great friend and colleague and I loved your sense of humor.  I think of you every day and miss you so much when I hear activity over the wall of our cubicle.  I  know that you are in a good place now and I will be so happy to connect with you again in Heaven. You were a good man with a kind heart. God Bless you and your family as they are coping with losing you as I am. Love to you and all your family.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

Steve was one of the 1st customers I called on when I moved to Ga! He also wired with my Brother Bill! I will never forget that smile Steve had! He would light up the room! My thoughts and prayers go out to Steves family! The industry has lost a great man, mentor, leader and most importantly a good friend! RIP / God Speed! 🙏🙏

I knew Steve for many years as both a client and a friend.  He was always a great person and a dedicated freight forwarder. I always looked forward to meeting with Steve as it became more a visit with a friend rather than a sales call and he will be sorely missed by an industry in need of  more guys like Steve.

Steve will be dearly missed but not soon forgotten.  He was a pleasure to interact with in business and a kind hearted man.  And what a sense of humor!  We fell out of touch but I have many fond memories of time spent with my old friend that make me smile to this day.

Steve, you will be missed by all of us in the shipping industry. Our time working together at Embassy was short, however, I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know you and to call you friend. RIP

Great memories of times spent during our time together at Schenker and JAS. So many adventures and really fun times.  Reconnecting when I moved back to Atlanta 5 years ago was indeed a pleasure. I'll miss our dinners at Hal's, sharing a bottle (or two) of Jordan, and finishing the evening with a good cigar. The great conversations, and laughing about times gone by. Going to miss you Buddy, see you on the flip side.

 The first time I met Steve was at my first March madness golf trip in late March 1991 . I knew right away he would be a good friend for a long time he would always say sweeeeeet!!!!  whenever he saw me in before we hung up the phone he would say ciao Bella !! great memories of Steve will be with be forever. it was great when we lived in Atlanta and I was so close to Steve and we can spend more time together. well he’s making birdies in heaven now while we are all struggling to make par down here  on earth

Steve is survived by sister, Mary Feuer of Sugarland, TX, brothers, Michael Arra of Phoenix, AZ; Denis Arra of Dunwoody, GA; Mark Arra of Houston, TX and Christopher Arra of Acworth, GA. Also are surviving are several nieces and nephews.
