

Born and raised in Midfield, Alabama, Bill was known for his captivating stories, warm heart, and unwavering spirit.
Bill received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in 1968 from Georgia Tech, a Master of Business Administration in 1970 from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a doctoral degree in Real Estate and Land Economics in 1984 from Georgia State University. Bill also proudly served as a captain in the United States Army from 1971-1973.
He is survived by his devoted children: Virginia (Joe) Azzato of Long Island, NY; Annie (Darryl) Anderson of Atlanta, GA; Andrew (Carly) Langdon of Peachtree City, GA; and William (Sara) Langdon of Acworth, GA. Bill was a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren (Maya, Jahti, Chase, Melody, Bryce, Conner, Natalie, Mason, Emmy, and Jake) and a great-grandfather to 2 (Alma and Jack), all of whom were a source of immense joy and pride for him.
Bill was reunited with the love of his life, Patricia Langdon, who passed away 24 years ago. Now they are together once more.
Bill will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His rich stories and warm presence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.
A wake to honor the life of William "Bill" Langdon will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Sandy Springs Chapel, located at 136 Mount Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328.
The funeral service will take place on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, also at Sandy Springs Chapel, located at 136 Mount Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328.
All family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Bill's remarkable life and sharing cherished memories.
