George Aguilar Hernandez, born and raised in Santa Paula, CA. George was a fiberglass finisher for seven years and then worked at the Santa Paula Convalescent Hospital. After George continued his employment at Twin Pines he retired from Twin Pines in 2008.
George is survived by his siblings, Lawrence Chavez, Frank Hernandez, Ramon Hernandez, Mike Hernandez, Danny Hernandez, David Hernandez, Eleanor Gomez, Mercy Lopez and Josephine Estrada.
And predeceased father, Juan Hernandez, mother, Margarita Aguilar Hernandez; brothers, Juanito Hernandez, Nick Hernandez, Richard Hernandez, Simon Hernandez and sisters, Dolores Contreras, Alice Sigala and Carmen Rodriguez.
George’s ability to make everyone he surrounded himself with feel loved, comfort and secure was a unique trait only he had. Being described as “Everyone’s Neighbor” many knew George as the hard worker he was but was more recognized for his kindness.
While today we deeply grieved by the loss of one of the pillars in our family, we are thankful for the chance of having him in our lives. Not too many people have had the privilege of knowing someone as remarkable as him. As we eagerly await the day to reunite with him, we keep him in our minds and hearts, where his memory will forever be everlasting.
Visitation will be held on Thursday November 14th, at the Funeraria Del Angel, 128 S 8th St, Santa Paula, CA 93060 Time: 5-9pm (Rosary begins at 7pm)
Service will be held on Friday November 15th at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 427 N Oak St, Santa Paula, CA 93060 Time: 10am Following burial ceremony at Pierce Brothers Cemetery, 380 Cemetery Rd, Santa Paula, CA 93060
