Born on March 17, 1927, in Dustin, Oklahoma, Izella lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and love.
She was the devoted wife of Sidney Taylor, whom she married in 1947. Together, they shared 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2005. Their life was one of love, strong values, and joy as they raised their two sons, Bob and Paul.
Izella was a proud and loving mother. The loss of her son Bob in 2020 left her heartbroken, and she missed him every day. She also endured the heartbreaking losses of her daughter-in-law Pam (2003), and her grandsons Brandon (1972) and Nathan (2005).
She is survived by her son Paul and his wife Debbie, and by her grandchildren Bobby Jr., Seth, and Shelby. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Brandon, Joshua, Danyel, Taegan, Saydie, and Devon—and her great-great-grandson, Zander.
Her family takes comfort in knowing she has found her way home—reunited with her husband, son, grandsons, and her Savior.
She was deeply loved in life and will be missed.
