

Margarita Moreno De León, age 81, passed away on April 5, 2026, in Moreno Valley, California. She was born and raised in Saticoy (Ventura County), California, to Antonio and Guadalupe Rayos Moreno. For the past 19 years, she resided in San Jacinto (Riverside County), California.
As a young woman growing up in a small town, Margarita was known and loved by many. She was caring, kind, friendly, and fun, and she always carried a warm smile that could brighten any room. She had a deep love for life and found joy in socializing, dancing, music, traveling, and cooking. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.
Margarita worked in the walnut groves as a young child. She later worked at Frozen Foods Co. in Oxnard, Ventura County Medical Center, and La Siesta Assisted Living in Ventura, where she eventually retired. She made many lifelong friends throughout her career.
Margarita is survived by her daughter, Sandra; her sons, Epifanio, Anthony, and Jesus; her sister, Helen; her grandsons, Richard, Robert, Jose, Ismael, David, Richard, Daniel, Rogelio, and Héctor; her granddaughters, Pearl, Serina, Veronica, Carolyn Anh, Sandy Sue, Elizabeth, and Kayla; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Mejia De León; her parents, Antonio and Guadalupe Moreno; her sisters, Gloria and Susan; her brothers, Raymond and Louie; her beloved daughter, Clara Marie; and her grandson, Raymond Garcia.
Margarita’s love, strength, and joyful spirit will live on in all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
