Steven Royse Elliott, 71, of Santa Paula, California, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026. A longtime member of the Santa Paula community, Steven was the beloved son of William and Rosaline Elliott and a brother to Michael Elliott and his wife, Kathy.

Steven was best known as the proprietor of the family’s El Paso Department Store on Main St, a business that served generations of local families and stood as a cornerstone of downtown Santa Paula. With a warm smile and a genuine interest in people, Steven carried on the family tradition with pride, dedication, and a deep respect for the community his parents helped build.

He will be remembered for his steady presence and quiet generosity. Steven’s legacy lives on through the countless friendships he formed, the business he faithfully stewarded, and the love he shared with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
