We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Randall Albert Affonso, Jr. He tragically left us on May 15, 2023, following what appears to be a stroke. Randall is survived by his loving parents, Randall Affonso Sr and Carmelita (Tammy) Affonso, his daughter, Madelyn Affonso, his separated wife, Esmeralda Affonso and his sister, Alicia Benson.
During this challenging time, Randall's parents, Esmeralda, and Alicia are working closely together to plan a service in his memory. Details will be shared in the near future at this location, with the service expected to take place in about a month. In accordance with Randall's wishes, he will be cremated, and the service will be a celebration of his life, providing an opportunity for everyone to share their memories.
Randall will be remembered for his love of his daughter, his sense of humor, his dedication to his job and colleagues at PACE Supply in Napa, and his love for the outdoors. He had a special fondness for camping, particularly at Lake Pillsbury, Indian Valley, and Montana with his friends and family. Randall's kind and helping nature endeared him to others, and he touched many lives.
Please join us in celebrating Randall's life. We'll come together with friends, family, and co-workers from PACE for a relaxed and meaningful event filled with stories, photos, and his favorite foods like pizza, chili and macaroni & cheese. Save the date: Saturday, July 8th, 1-4pm, at the Odd Fellow's Hall, 545 Pacific Avenue, Santa Rosa, California, 95404. Carpooling is appreciated, and if the parking lot fills up, please allow extra time to find a spot in the surrounding neighborhood. If you need special parking arrangements, contact me at 1-707-331-8437.
As promised, we're creating a college savings account for Madelyn. To contribute, send your donation to Alicia Benson via Venmo @Alicia-Benson-3 (last 4 digits of cell: 8437). Cash or check donations can also be placed in a basket at the entrance during the service. Kindly include your mailing address and phone number so that we can provide updates on Madelyn as she grows up. Additionally, we're collecting photos to share at the event and create a special photo book for Madelyn to remember her dad. Please share any photos you have by texting the highest resolution version to 1-707-331-8437, emailing them to [email protected], or sharing them here by posting below.
We deeply appreciate your kind words and support as we mourn the loss of Randall. His memory will forever be cherished, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
