Barbara Sanchez Busby, a longtime resident of Chickasaw, died on Thursday, September 5, 2013. Mrs. Busby was preceded in death by husband, Thomas Sanchez, Sr. and her daughter, Barbara Lynn Sanchez. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Sanchez, Jr., Michael (Jackie) Sanchez, Patrick (Nancy) Sanchez; three daughters, Wanda (George) Goodwin, Becky (Brent) Bell and Karen (Gary) Clark; three sisters, Dot Evans, Sandi (Bobby) Jackson and Connie Donaldson; eleven grandchildren, Christopher Goodwin, Kathryn Goodwin, Brandy Holmes, Stephen Clark, Tommy (Lauren) Bell, Rebecca Bell, Ashley (Brandan) Sager, Amy (Robert) Reed, Amber (Trey) Weatherly, Cameron Sanchez and Megan Sanchez; seven great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Sunday from 5 until 8 PM. The Rosary will be recited at 7 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated from St. Thomas Catholic Church in Chickasaw on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 10 AM with Rev. John Lynes and Rev William Saucier as Con-Celebrants. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
