Charles Edward Bryan

Mr. Charles Edward Bryan, age 82, native of Philadelphia, MS and longtime resident of Georgetown, AL, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Mr. Bryan is preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Audrey Wilson Bryan, daughter and son, Michelle and Dean, brothers, Lamar Wesley and Terry Bryan and sister, Mildred Bryan. Mr. Bryan served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and enjoyed Alabama Football. He retired after over 20 years as a Maintenance Director for Shell Oil Company. He was an active member of Orchard Assembly, where he was very involved in the church activities. Mr. Bryan is survived by his wife of 13 years, Betty Fillingim Cooley Bryan, nephews, Todd Bryan and Danny Bryan, step-daughter, Victoria Cooley McGilvray (Dr. J. Michael McGilvray), and grandchildren, Jackson and Elora. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow, with military honors, at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL .
