Clarence (C.F.) Burnette

Clarence (C.F.) Burnette – a native of Clanton, AL and resident of Saraland, AL died Sunday, September 15, 2013 in a local hospital. He was a member of Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church. Mr. Burnette was a lifetime entrepreneur dealing in the roofing contracting business. He was owner of General Roofing, Inc. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Clara Burnette; two sons, Russell (Brenda) Burnette and Larry (Raina) Clayton; three brothers, Robert Burnette, Vasteen (Ruby) Burnette and Lamar (Dot) Burnette; two sisters, Peggy Coppage and Wilma Jean Knight; four grandchildren, Bryant Burnette, Kane (Lyda) Burnette, Lindsey (Korey) Barbetta and Lauren Clayton; three great-grandchildren, Martha Helen, James, and Walt Burnette; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
