
David C. Ball, native of Louin, MS & resident of Satsuma for 50 years entered heavens gates May 3, 2012.
Born September 19, 1929 to Benjamin & Mittie Ball. A Korean War veteran, 32nd degree Mason at Howard E Blackwell Lodge, a Scottish Rite, Shriner, and Eastern Star member.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin & Mittie Ball; his oldest daughter, Cindy Ball Key; his son-in-law, Edward Kleinow; maternal in-laws, Ross and Ethel Herrington and brother-in-law, Robert Nations.
He is survived by his devoted, loving wife of 58 years, Mildred Herrington Ball; daughters, Gena (Bobby) Irby, Nita Kleinow, Jackie (Paul) Faulk; son-in-law, David (Betsy) Key; daughter-in-law, Cindy “Key Girl” (Pete) Gilmore. Granddaddy to Christopher (Maggie) Key, Crystal Irby, Holly (Jason) Blount, Caitlin Irby, Stephen Key, Ashleigh Key, and Great-Granddaddy to Jakob Cole Blount. Also, survived by siblings, Myrtle Nations, Doris (Ed) Thigpen, and Jerald (Margie) Ball. Brother-in-law to Sarah (Claude) Collier, Hugh (Trisha) Herrington, Lee (Marie) Herrington, Ted Herrington and Don (Jackie) Herrington. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Services will be from the chapel at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland Monday, May 7, 2012 at 12 noon.Visitation starts at 11 am. Internment in Forrest Lawn memorial Gardens.
