Elna Middleton Bailey

Elna M. Bailey – Born on February 24, 1938 in Old Texas, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home. She was a member of Saraland Church of Christ for over 60 years and a local hairdresser for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Annie Middleton; and her granddaughter, Makayla Reynolds. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Franklin D. Bailey; five children, Rodney Bailey (Phyllis), Greg Bailey (Nancy), Gwen Braden (Steve), Cindy Bailey, and Frankie Bailey (Tiara); one sister, Alice Johnson; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 11 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are her grandsons, Daniel Bailey, Michael Bailey, Kevin (Paul) Saucier, Nick Saucier, Jesse Gartman, and Josh Gartman.
