Eloise Rogers Hammond – an 88 year-old native of Stockton and resident of Daphne passed away Monday, August 6, 2012. She was a longtime devoted member of Northside Bible Church. She enjoyed cooking and caring for others. Mrs. Hammond was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hammond; sisters, Mildred Craft and Yvonne Orem; and nephews, Randy Orem and James Earl Craft. She is survived by her sister, Annice “Peggy” Morrison; nephew, Robert W. Orem, Jr. (Susan); niece, Cindy Orem; great-nephews, Tyler Orem and John Orem (Sarah); and great-niece, Lauris Orem. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 10, from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
