It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Felbert Beck, Jr., Father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. While words cannot fully express the loss we feel, we wish to honor his memory and celebrate a life well-lived.
Felbert Beck, Jr., 84, passed away on November 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 11, 1941, in Whistler, Alabama. He spent most of his life working as a truck driver and loved fishing. His inventive spirit led him to devise practical solutions and unique devices, earning the respect of those who witnessed his resourcefulness and technical skills. His straightforward approach, sense of humor, and practical wisdom were appreciated by all who knew him. Above all Felbert valued his family, he supported those he loved in his own way, offering love, advice, and companionship when it was needed. Mostly his presence will be missed but his memory will continue to live on through all those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley A. Kelly Beck; father, Felbert Beck, Sr.; mother, Annie H. Godwin Beck; grandson, John D. Beck; and siblings, Betty J. Beck Preston, Eberlean Beck Baker, Robert E. Beck Sr. and Charles G. Beck.
He is survived by his children, Cynthia L. Bedsole-Beck (Melanie), Felbert C. (Runt) Beck, Shirley (Lisa) Beck McLaughlin (Kenneth), Dennis H. (John) Beck; grandchildren, Heather Bolanos, Bryan Beck (Nicole), Kayla Beck, Daphne Sexton (Grady), Stephanie McLaughlin and Brookley Beck; great grandchildren, Catherine Bolanos, Logan Beck, Abby Mclain, ShyAnn Sexton and Sylvia Beck.
Services will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland December 2, 2025. Visitation 12:00-1:00 Service 1:00. Interment to follow at Valhalla Memorial Cemetery in Eight Mile, AL.
