Frank Joseph McKeough, Jr. – Pop Pop, as he was known by his family and friends, a native of Mobile, AL and resident of Semmes, AL died Saturday, September 10, 2011 in a local hospital. He was a 1961 graduate of Murphy High School. He retired with the Teamsters Union Local #991. Mr. McKeough loved trains, Nascar and going to the mountain. He was a member of the National Railway Historical Society and served as Director with the Alabama Gulf Chapter. He is survived by his wife, Faye Hyde McKeough; three children, Kimberly (Herman) Brannon, Kathee (Tony) Ollhoft and Frank J. (Katrina) McKeough, III; one sister, Barbara (Todd) Waltman; two brothers, Melvin W. (Jerri) McKeough and George V. (Anita) McKeough; eleven grandchildren, Trey (Nina), Jacob (Micah), Dylon (Amber), Tyler, Dominic, Desiree, Jordan, Joseph IV, Jayden, Adam and Robert; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 15, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
