George Ronald "Ronnie" Jernigan - loving husband, father, and brother, a 75 year-old native of Evergreen, Alabama and resident of Saraland, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025. Mr. Jernigan was a successful business owner. A fine Christian man, he was a longtime faithful member of Redemption Church where he served as a deacon. Mr. Jernigan was an outstanding artist and was a member of Gideon International.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathy Jernigan; son, Jonathan Jernigan; siblings, Charlotte Parham and Donnie Jernigan (Sharon); as well as nephews, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from Redemption Church in Saraland on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
