Mr. Glenn Ray Dickson, age 70, longtime resident of Saraland, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Vance and Annie Rae Jamison Dickson and brothers, Harry Vance Dickson, Jr. and Charles Street Dickson.
Mr. Dickson was employed as a Marine Machinist for 48 years with Whistler Machine Works. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband of 50 years to his wife, Alice. Glenn loved his family, always attending to their needs over the years. Family time, times spent with Alice and his adoring daughter, Angie were always special. Glenn was a "Simple Man" who always tried to take care of others first, and self later.
Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Alice and daughter, Angie and her spouse, Renee Miller. He is also survived by his sister, Francis Pearson (Hoyte) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
