Mrs. Ennis Hazel Nicholas, age 85, longtime resident of Eight Mile, AL, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George L. Nicholas, Sr., daughter, Deborah Nicholas Hendrix and parents, Edward Franklin and Eula Lee Davis Keebler. Mrs. Nicholas worked for many years as a Traffic Officer with the City of Prichard, enjoyed gardening and spending time in the outdoors. Mrs. Nicholas is survived by her children, George L. Nicholas, Jr. (Twila), William F. Nicholas (Vickie), Brenda Faye Bailey (Larry, Sr.), adopted grandsons, Christopher Lee Nicholas and Timothy P. Hendrix. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Mobile Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
