"King" Henry Eugene Bentley - beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, a 73 year-old native of McIntosh, AL and longtime resident of Eight Mile passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. He was an avid fisherman and longtime member of a local mystic society. He loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Kathy Bentley; daughters, Tammy Dewberry (Charles), daughter, Kim Dement (Bob), and Sonja Taylor (Rodney "Tater" Pate); Sister, Marilyn Reid; grandchildren, Brandy Deas (Caleb), Ashleigh Amerson (Matt), Charles Dewberry (Cheree), Bryan Bentley, Michelle Johnston (John), Michael Harrell, and Trent Taylor; longtime friend that he loved like a son, Jeff Davis; 7 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 19, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
