Howard was born September 9, 1942 in Choctaw County, AL to Howard and Lula Thompson. He set a tremendous example of faith, love and strength of character, and was a source of inspiration to all who knew him. He retired from Teledyne Continental Motors as a Senior Tech Advisor after 52 years of service.
Howard is survived by his loving wife; Brenda Thompson, son; Chris (Selina) Thompson, granddaughter; Laura Thompson, grandson; Mason Thompson, Sister; Cheryl Bodden (Joe), and Martha Stafford (Donald), and many other family and friends that will miss Howard deeply.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents; Howard and Lula Thompson, sister; Geraldine Scott, and brother; Donald Thompson.
Visitation will be held from 9am to the 10am funeral hour on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. There will be a graveside service immediately following the funeral at 1:30pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Gilbertown, AL.
