Jackie Wayne Shiver

Jackie loved his Lord and Savior and his church, the apple of his eyes were for his grandchildren, Jackie loved to go fishing, karaoke, traveling and history.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Virginia Grubbs Shiver; siblings, Ray Shiver, Rudolph Shiver, Doug Shiver, Shirley Carroll, Carl Shiver and Randell Shiver.

Jackie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 17 years Bonnie Kent Shiver; children, Kenneth “Ken” (Melanie) Shiver and Julie Shiver (Phillip) Boutwell; step-children, Kim (Jeff) Snowden, Tammy (Robert) Hayden and Tod (Patricia) Bodiford; grandchildren, Dakota Shiver, Kourtney Shiver (Kelby) Killam, Emily Boutwell, Jack Boutwell, Step-grandchildren, Aimee’ Powell, Alyce Lew, James Lew, Jr., Katy Bodiford, Emma Grace Snowden and Abby Snowden; great grandchildren, Weston Shiver and Rayven Killam and five step great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Alice Simmons and Freddie “Shot” Shiver. Also, survived by many loved nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL. from 10:00 am until 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Radney Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. with the interment following, in Catawaba Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Brewton, AL at 2:30 pm
