Mr. Neal had been active in many civic projects including the PTA at Clark Magnet School, coaching girls softball and boys baseball, and the Abba Temple Shrine. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cathy Neal; two daughters, Amy Odom (Brandy) and Josie Neal (Fiance, Jonathan Tucker); two brothers, Thomas Neal (Sharon) and Jerry Neal (Libby); three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Odom, Brandon Odom, and Joshua Odom; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
