James A. Tate, Sr, a long time resident of Saraland, passed away on October 22. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Farley Tate, his children Bill (Becky), Bobby (Carol), Debra Evans (John), Tony, and Noel, five grandchildren, their spouses, eight great grandchildren, and two nephews, Tommie and James Allen Tate. He was preceded in death by his parents, R. J. and Ara Tate, and his brother, Judson Tate. Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, October 25, with services immediately following. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the charity of donor's choice.
