Jean Davis Crawford-Tarver

Mrs. Jean Davis Crawford-Tarver, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. She is preceded in death by her late husband, John L. Crawford, Sr. and brother James T. Davis, Jr. Mrs. Tarver was a longtime member of Sims Chapel Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Spanish Fort. She retired after over twenty five years in Administration with Ciba Geigy Chemical Company. Over the years she loved travelling and camping , but in her later years enjoyed spending her time with her loving family and church family. Mrs. Tarver is survived by her husband, Melvin Tarver and son, John L. “Larry” Crawford , Jr. and his wife Mary. She is also survived by her step-children; Jean Knizley (David), Sheila Tarver, Ray Tarver, Donna Wegener (Carl), sister, Peggy Davis Smith, grandchildren; Chrissy Michele Jones (Billy), John David Crawford; great-grandchildren, Haley , Brittaney and Jessica Jones and Rylan and Mya Crawford; and brother, Donald Davis. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Celeste Rd., Saraland, AL.
