JoAnne Weir – A native of Mobile, AL and resident of Eight Mile, AL passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012 in a local hospital. She was a member of Indian Springs Holiness Church. She is survived by six children, Sherry (Mitch) Vickers, Harlan Foster, Dewey Foster, Marlene (Jamie) Ashberry, Jami Lynne Akridge and Brittany Foster; one sister, Ruthie Hill; two brothers, Robert Downing and Travis Downing; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be Monday, July 30, 2012, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 12 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Wilmer Cemetery.
