Johnnie Margaret Dykes

Johnnie Margaret Dykes – A native of Lenox, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, February 24, 2012, in a local hospital. She was a member of Whitehouse Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was owner and operator of Johnnie’s Beauty Salon in Pennington, AL for approximately 20 years. Mrs. Dykes was active with the Mobile, Alabama Dystonia Support group. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe G. Dykes. Survivors include three children, Jim Dykes, Daphne, AL, Susan (Bruce) Lovett, Bay Minette, AL, and Melanie (Randy) Brannan, Bay Minette, AL; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 26, 2012, at 3 p.m. from Whitehouse Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday beginning at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Bay Minette Cemetery.
