Jonathan David Biggs

Jonathan David Biggs – a 42 year-old resident of Saraland passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. He was employed at Austal Shipbuilding and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and enjoyed fishing and hunting, and working out with his dear friend, Mike Williams. Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Ernest Biggs, and sister, Ernestine Perry. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 11 years, Amanda Thomas Biggs; mother, Betty Biggs; siblings, Yvonne Warren (Jimmy), Donald Ray Biggs (Leila), Ricky Biggs (Lucy), Guinette Lindsey (Donnie), and Dorothy Wheelus; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sue and Ken Thomas; devoted sister in law, Monica Thomas; brother-in-law, Johnny Perry; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from Shiloh Baptist Church in Saraland on Monday, June 20, 2016, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at Shiloh Baptist Church on Sunday, June 19, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
