Julia Downey Corley, 89, of Semmes, Alabama, born July 9, 1933 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Mrs. Corley was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, John “Buddy” Corley; daughter, Debra Corley; her parents, Fred and Thelma Hamilton Downey; two brothers, Jim Downey and Ray Downey.

She is survived by two sister-in-laws, Phyllis Poythress and Barbara Downey; a nephew, Paul (Janice) Corley, also survived by other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service for Julia will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Road, Saraland, AL 36571.
