Julian Ellis Etheredge Sr.

Julian Ellis Etheredge, Sr. – a resident of Saraland, AL and former employee of Scott Paper Company passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, November 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Alberta Etheredge, and sister, Judith Nelson. Mr. Etheredge is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marian Etheredge; four children, Beryl Anderson (Ricky), Betty Johnson (David), Julian Ellis Etheredge, Jr., and Cindy Smith (Ken); grandchildren, Kristy Anderson, Trent and Logan Johnson, Natalie Landrum (Cameron), and Colton Smith; sister, Jewel Perry; and our wonderful family of cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family would like to offer a very special and heartfelt thanks to Betty Crenshaw and family, Susan Pack and family, Carol Wilkerson and family, Betty Teaford and family, Ann and Bill Smith, Amelia Armistead and family, Woodrow and Helen Smith; Bob and Terri Alday, Bob and Vangie Byers, and the staff of Gentiva for all of their wonderful care and support. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 13, from 5- 8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
