Margaret Halpin Dunnam

Mrs. Margaret Halpin Dunnam, age 82, native of Glendale, NY and longtime resident of Saraland, AL, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Elizabeth Spring Halpin and husband, Charles Raymond Dunnam. Mrs. Dunnam was a faithful member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Chickasaw, AL for over fifty-seven years. She served as school secretary from 1978-1989. She served as church secretary from 1989 until her passing on Wednesday. Her family will remember her as a loving, mother and grandmother who was faithful to her God and church. Mrs. Dunnam is survived by her nine children, Mary Ann Merchant (Clarence), Susan Maynard (Bob), Thomas Dunnam (Sherry), Glenn Dunnam (Angie), Tricia Adair (Billy), Raymond Dunnam (Judy), Maureen Richardson (Phillip), Billy Dunnam and Jimmy Dunnam (Sharee). She is also survived by her brothers, Charles Halpin, Robert Halpin, , Michael Murphy, sisters, Eileen Mansicalco, Lillian Franetovich, Lorraine Kuerner, seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Chickasaw, AL on Monday, March 7, 2015 at 12:00 Noon.
