Marie Anderson McLeod – a native of Jackson Co., AL and resident of Wilmer, AL died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at home. She worked for the Federal Government for over forty years and retired from the Corps of Engineers, Mobile District. She is survived by her husband, James E. McLeod; daughter, Sondra McLeod (Daniel E.) Fincher; son, James M. McLeod; three brothers, Howard D. (Margaret) Anderson, Jerry L. (Lilly) Anderson, and James A. (Brenda) Anderson; five grandchildren, Brittany E., Rachael M., Daniel M., and Bethany K. Fincher, and Matt E. McLeod; one great-grandson, Sawyer Lee Anderson Chadick; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will be Friday night from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
