Maude Lee Sandifer Morphis – an 87 year-old native of Tylertown, Mississippi and longtime resident of Saraland passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013. She retired from Saraland Elementary School after 12 years of service as a dietician. Mrs. Morphis was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Milton L. Morphis, six brothers, and three sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Faye Morphis Goldman (Aubrey); brothers, Charles Sandifer (Delores) and Joe Sandifer (Teddy); grandchildren, Daryl Chamlee and Deidra Wood; great-grandchildren, Devon Davidson, Darrion Chamlee, and Troy Wood; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
