Odelle Seibert received her Heavenly wings at 2:15AM on September 7, 2017. She was embraced by loved ones as she took flight! O’Delle was IMMEASURABLY LOVED by each person who was given the GIFT of knowing her. It is not possible to paint a true picture of THE BEAUTIFUL SOUL she was & THE LIFE SHE LIVED SO WELL, but this is our feeble attempt:
Odelle’s heart modeled Jesus Christ!! She was ALWAYS LAVISHLY spending her life on OTHER PEOPLE & NEVER COUNTED THE COST!!!! She knew no other way to live. That’s why she is engraved on all of our lives forever…She didn’t preach Jesus. She lived Jesus. She could find humor in the dark and turn the light on with her laughter! She was FULL of mischievousness & could create a fun experience out of watching grass grow!! She was “Easy Like Sunday Morning” & never demanded her own way.
She was SELFLESS & KIND & deposited LIFE & LOVE into every human being with each encounter - family, friend, acquaintance, or the cashier at Walmart! She was eager & excited to help in every situation without spotlight or attention.
If you asked her how she was doing, it was always, “I feel good today,” even when she was hurting. She always said, “I can CHOOSE to have a good day!!” And, she did. She NEVER complained but ALWAYS found the silver lining (because she was looking for it). She focused on the good in people & embraced everyone in all walks of life with zero judgement. She was intentionally generous & would give you her last dollar and ask if you needed more. She was grateful for the smallest of things & made you feel like you had done something monumental with your every act of kindness. She GLADLY put herself last & considered other’s interests before her own. She was a people magnet & never had an enemy. Her homemade baked & cooked goodies would make you hurt yourself!! Her spirit was contagious! She was the wind beneath our wings. She was our measure of consistency. She was our life’s example. She had a way about her - an indescribable beauty. She LOVED UNCONDITIONALLY DEEP & WIDE…
There’s a hole in our hearts at our loss, but we CELEBRATE Heaven’s gain…
Odelle Seibert, THANK YOU for how you gave your life away to us. You taught us well. We will carry on your LEGACY of LOVE. Save us a seat, BELOVED!!! We will see you again one day!! WELL DONE, GOOD & FAITHFUL SERVANT. WELL DONE!!!! YOU ARE LOVED TO HEAVEN & HOME & BACK, AGAIN…
