Patrick "Pappy" Conrad Thompson

Patrick Conrad Thompson, affectionately known as “Pappy” by his loved ones and friends, passed away on August 19, 2021. Described as the “Most Handsome” dad and a fishing legend Pappy lived his life to the fullest. He cherished spending time with his family doing the smallest of activities or chasing an adventure. Pappy was a huge Auburn Tigers fan and also enjoyed fishing, Maris Gras, Halloween, telling stories and creative projects. He taught his children that life is not always serious, find time to laugh, have fun and make memories. Pappy will be remembered as someone that was an all-around good person who brought joy, smiles and laughs to everyone around him.

He is preceded in death by his father Bernie Thompson. Survivors include his wife Angela Marie Thompson, children; daughter Ivy Nicole Thompson and son Connor Powers Thompson, mother Jacqueline Shaw Thompson, siblings; Chris (Maria) Thompson, Todd Thompson and Becky Thompson. And the rest of his extended family including aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Pappy’s life on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL. from 12:00PM-1:00PM followed by Memorial Service at 1:00PM.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation to Ronald McDonald House.
