Quincy Lee Jones

Quincy Lee Jones, age 87, of Chunchula, Alabama passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019. Quincy was born October 27, 1932 in Clarke County, Alabama to Florence Elizabeth Pettis Jones and Gordie Lee Jones. Quincy started his career at Unisource right out of high school where he spent 64 years of employment.

Quincy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Gloria Davis Jones; son, Carl Lee Jones, Sr.; grandchildren, Carl Lee Jones, Jr. (Candace), Lisa Weaver, Dustin Jones, Casyn Jones (Micah), and Christian Beasley; great-grandchildren, Carl Lee Jones, III, Levi Jones, Macie Jones, Dustin Wade Jones, Jr., Lovie Jones, Lena Jones, LJ Weaver, and Cara Weaver; siblings, Faye Jones, Boyce Jones (Joann), Larry Jones (Becky), Brenda King, Lenora George, and Charles Jones (Lorraine); and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Quincy was preceded in death by his father, Gordie Lee Jones; mother, Florence Elizabeth Pettis Jones; brother, Wayne Jones; and a great-grandson, Riley Jones.

A visitation for Quincy will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A graveside service will occur Friday, November 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Gulf Crest Cemetery, 8404 Gulfcrest Rd, Chunchula, Alabama 36521 followed by interment. Rev. Ricky Turner will officiate.
