Ronald Eldridge Townsend affectionately known as Bubba. Bubba was born February 3,1973 and departed this life February 18, 2026 after a long illness.

Bubba was Army Veteran. He earned a Purple Heart from his time in Iraq.

He is preceded in death by His grandparents Willis and Ruby Townsend L.C. and Emogene Dailey and his brother, Joshua Townsend.

He is survived by His devoted wife Wai Townsend; treasured son, Chance Townsend; Loving parents, Ron and Sharon Townsend; beloved sister, Michelle Townsend; his biological Mom, Sandee Barrow; his brother, Joe Barrow and five grandchildren, also survived by several nieces, nephews, many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

He will deeply be missed by all.

A Graveside Service will be held be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort, located at 34904 AL-225, Spanish Fort, Alabama, 36527

The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project.
