Roy Gilbert Ruggles

Roy was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Roy was an avid fisherman, hunter, and loved working on his antique cars. He was a very hard worker, starting his own business, Roy's Dental Lab, in 1973, and working up until he sold the business in 2017.

He was preceded in death by his parents,Roy Gilbert and sister Shari Yashiki.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Faye Coleman Ruggles; Children Roy Lee Ruggles (Pam) & Lisa Ruggles; 3 grandchildren, Bentley Ruggles, Rhett Ruggles, & Rachel Ruggles; seven great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends that will miss Roy dearly.

Visitation for Roy will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama 36571, with the funeral following at 10am. Burial and Military Honors will take place immediately after at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 10000 Celeste Road in Saraland.
