Sarah Louise Gibson Beech - a native of Silas, AL and resident of Chickasaw, AL died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Elijah Gibson; her sister, Rose Marie Ivey; and grandson, Blake Cartee. She is survived by five children, Mack Beech, VA, William Nolan, Japan, Carlton (Iraina) Beech, Chickasaw, Sherryl Cartee, Chickasaw, and Karen (Marlyn) Sanford, Chickasaw; one brother, Charlie Lee Gibson, St. Stephens; one sister, Anna (Jimmy) Anderson, Gainestown; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be Friday, February 14, 2014, at 1 p.m. from Spring Bank Baptist Church in Silas. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 12 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Spring Bank Baptist Cemetery.
