

Thomas “Tommy” Floyd Cooper, age 70 resident of Wilmer, Alabama passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his residence. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; James Rex Cooper, Sr. and Lillie Janell Cooper, three brothers: Ralph Cooper, Ronnie Cooper, and Gerald Wayne Cooper.
He leaves behind his family to cherish his memory; his loving wife of fifty-one years, Barbara Cooper, his daughter, Tammy (Pat) Cooper, his son, Chad Cooper, three brothers: Jimmy (Lisa) Cooper, Mike (Kelly) Cooper, Johnny (Kim) Cooper, one sister, Angie (Curt) Wood, five grandchildren: Blakely, Layton, Kaylee, Zack, and Cooper, one great-grandson, Nolan, his best friend, Mark Watson, along with many extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.
Tommy retired from Barber’s Dairy after thirty years. After retirement Tommy enjoyed his Alabama football, his dog Booger, and he was an avid Elvis Presley fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Today is full of memories of a Husband, Brother, Father, and Paw-Paw laid to rest and every single one of them is filled with happiness and memories that will last a lifetime –To know you- was to know someone very special. Till we meet again. It’s not good-bye, It’s see you later.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Cooper, Mike Cooper, Johnny Cooper, Curt Wood, Derrick Cooper, and Jay Cooper. Honorary pallbearers will be Layton Cooper, Zack Cooper, Cooper Lee, Nolan Lambert, and Mark Watson.
Services for Tommy will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606 with Bro. Mark Wyatt officiating. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Valhalla Memorial Gardens , Eight Mile, Alabama.
The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from the hours of 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, and will resume on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM until time of chapel service at 2:00 PM.
