Tommie Newton Howell of Saraland, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019 at his residence in Kilgore, Texas.

Howell was an electrician and was a United States Army veteran.

Visitation will be at Radney’s Funeral Home in Saraland at 10 a.m., and graveside services will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, also in Saraland, under the direction of Howell’s son, Rev. Greg Howell.

Howell is survived by his wife, Barbara Elaine McCarter Howell, of Kilgore; son Michael Wayne Howell (Dozia); son Gregory Marcus Howell (Angela) of Kilgore; and by seven grandchildren, Brittany Cierra Howell Krause, Suzanna Elaine Howell, Lauren Alys Howell, Marcus Antony Howell, Ryan Gregory Howell, Benjamin Marcus Howell and Madisyn Suzanne Howell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Madgie Howell, and a granddaughter, Amberleigh Brianna Howell.
