Travis Jones Walker

Travis Jones Walker – a 77 year-old native of Nicholsville, AL and a longtime resident of Saraland passed away at his home on Saturday, September 7, 2013. He retired from International Paper after many years of service and was a faithful member of Gold Leaf Church of God in Satsuma. He loved spending time with his family, and was an avid Alabama football fan. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents, KW and Lizzie Walker; daughter, Cynthia Darlene Walker; sister, Doris Smith; and two brothers, KA Walker and Reginald Walker. He is survived by his wife, Betty Geraldine Walker; son, Randall T. Walker (Cheri); granddaughter, Christina Walker; brother, Harmon Walker (Mavis); sister-in-law, Annie Walker; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, September 9, 2013, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 8, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
