Wendell Rex Sanders, 86, born July 5, 1937 in Silver Creek, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at his home.

He is survived by his three daughters, Tonya Jolly, Robin (Clay) West, and Kelly (Chris) Havard; a sister, Jennie Davis; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wendell was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Mary Nell Davis Sanders who passed away on January 6, 2017; his parents, Henry Wilmer and Louise A. Gregory Sanders and a son-in-law, Victor Jolly

The family will receive friends Friday, October 20, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home – Saraland, AL.

The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home – Saraland at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
