Anna (Lindberg) Renda, 96, died April 5, 2015 at the Pines Assisted Living Home in Sarasota, FL. Anna was born July 28, 1918 in Worcester, MA and moved to Florida in her twenties. She and her late husband, Dominic Renda ran the Port of Call motel on longboat key for many years during the 50's and 60's. Anna was a great cook and loved to swim and garden. She spent many summers in Alaska with her family. Anna is survived by her nephew Jon Tallman, of Maui, HI, great-nieces, Angela Hermannes of St. Peters, MO, Julia and Jenna Tallman of Oahu, HI, Rani and Shawna Tallman of Maui, HI, Gina and Leanna Tallman of Grand Junction,CO, and great-nephews Paul Tallman of Eugene, OR, James Tallman of Maui, HI, and Nick Tallman of TX, and 3 great-great nieces and 6 great-great nephews.
A memorial service will be held at The Pines of Sarasota on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 2:00PM in Culler's Hall, 1501 N. Orange Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236. Memorial donations may be made to The Pines of Sarasota.
